There's a calendar in my office. The image for each month is a country road that begins in the foreground, winds through the landscape and curves out of sight in the distance. I get charged just looking at these pictures.

What is it like to be on this road? I wonder. How does it feel? Who has been there before me? Where does the road lead? Might I see rabbits? More than anything, I want to go walking and find out.

I always want to know what's around the next bend. That's why I read. And write. And take pictures. And walk. To find out.

Who am I? I am what I read and write and see and think about and believe and do. Parts of which can be discovered through the pages of this site.
